Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital

KPM is providing Owner Representative services for the Roper St. Francis Healthcare Berkeley Hospital Expansion and new MOB.  Opened in 2019, Berkeley Hospital quickly realized the need for additional bed capacity in their rapidly growing community of Berkeley County.  The hospital expansion will increase the hospital bed capacity from 50 to 100 beds and also add over 200,000 square feet to the facility.  Emergency, Cardiac, Orthopedic and Obstetric services are all expanding to better meet the community’s needs.  A new medical office building will be constructed that will house a dedicated Women’s Imaging Department, Cardiology, and Physical Therapy Services.  This project is being delivered using the Target Value Design philosophy to ensure that the project achieves the maximum value for the Owner while being well within budget.
